Via Email
There's actually two ways to send resumes via electronic mail. Job applicants can either attach them as a Word File or embed them directly within the email message itself. Since it's so much easier to view resumes directly from the email inbox screen while also eliminating the potential risk of opening a file with a destructive virus attached to it, many employers actually prefer this method and will in most instances ignore a message with a resume sent as an attachment. So to ensure your resume gets read by a potential hiring company, always paste your document directly within the email message itself, and while you're at it, don't forget to paste your cover letter directly within the same message as well.
