DFBSST - The Development Fund for Black Students in Science & Technology is an endowment fund which provides scholarships to African-American undergraduate students who major in scientific or technical fields at black colleges and universities.

Free-4U.com - Provides an extensive list of organizations offering college funding opportunities for African Americans.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship - J.R.F. provides 4-year college scholarships of up to $7,000 annually to minority highschool students.

Little Africa.com - Online college-funding resource center for students and parents.  The site provides a megalist of available sources of financial aid for African-American students.  The site outlines details concerning numerous scholarships, grants, internships and other financial aid sources targeting African-American students.

Art Schools.com - Delivers an extremely enlightening article on how to track down and win art scholarships.  The article provides a useful list of college-funding sources, i.e., universities, community and civic groups, professional organizations, charitable foundations and others.

Free-4u.com - Provides details about companies and organizations offering Fine Arts scholarships, fellowships and internships.

N.F.A.A. - The National Foundation for the Advancement in Arts is a non-profit organization founded in 1981.  The NFAA offers scholarships and also aids students in locating other college-funding sources. 

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards - The S.A.W.A. has helped more than 2 million young artists and writers receive funding for college, which over the years has amounted to more than $20 million in financial awards and scholarships.  Since 1994, the SAWA has been administered by The Alliance for Young Artists And Writers, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing inspiration and validation for the next generation of artists and writers.

FastWeb.com - A free searchable database of schools, scholarships, fellowships, loans and grants.

Federal Student Aid - The U.S. Dept. of Education provides grants, loans and work-study opportunities to eligible students attending participating colleges or career schools.  The Department is the source of nearly 70 percent of all student aid awarded in the U.S. each year.  The vast majority of the Department's aid is not based on academic merit.

FinAid.org - Offers useful articles on applying for scholarships and provides several scholarship search databases.

Scholarships.com - Offers a no-fee search service for college scholarship and financial aid resources.

Student Awards.com - Is a free scholarship search service devoted to helping highschool seniors, university and college students locate information concerning scholarships, bursaries, grants and other forms of financial assistance.

Student Guide - The Student Guide is a comprehensive resource on student financial aid published by the U.S. Department of Education.  Grants, loans and work-study are the three major forms of aid available through the Department's Federal Student Aid office.  The Student Guide is updated each year and outlines the different college funding programs and how to apply for each.  The Student Guide is available online in English or Spanish, and can also be downloaded in PDF format.

Wired Scholar.com - A loans resource site published by Sallie Mae, the nation's leading provider of educational funding for highschool students pursuing college educations.   Sallie Mae primarily provides federally guaranteed student loans originating under the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) and offers comprehensive information and resources to assist students, parents, teachers and guidance professionals.

Chicana Latina.org - Provides an extensive list of scholarships for Latinos who are pursuing undergraduate and graduate college education.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute - Provides information and links to fellowship programs, scholarship awards, educational resources, educational publications, job opportunities and more.

Hispanic Online.com - Provides an extremely helpful article that smoothly outlines college funding sources for Hispanics.

Hispanic College Fund - The HCF provides scholarship opportunities to Hispanic students who meet the HCF's eligibility criteria.  All scholarships are merit and need based.  llege scholarships and educational outreach support than any other organization in the country.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund - HSF is the nation's leading organization supporting Hispanic higher education.  In support of its mission to double the rate of Hispanics earning college degrees, HSF provides the Latino community with more assistance in obtaining college scholarships and educational outreach support than any other organization in the country.

LULAC National Scholarship Fund - Is a program cosponsored by some 70 LULAC councils who regularly raise scholarship funds at the grass roots levels, which are matched nationally by sponsoring corporations.  As part of the League of United Latin American Citizens educational efforts, the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) was established in 1975 to provide college funding opportunities for Hispanic students.

AWIS - AWIS Education Foundation offers graduate awards and college scholarships for highschool seniors in the amount of $1,000.

Office of Science - The U.S. Department of Energy offers paid internships in Science & Engineering at any of several Department of Energy facilities.  Students work with scientists or engineers on projects related to the laboratories' research programs.

Microsoft - The company is committed to building the pipeline of future computer scientists.  Microsoft scholarships are designed to encourage students to pursue studies in computer science and related technical disciplines.  Students from across the United States, Canada and Mexico are awarded scholarships each year in recognition of their passion for software, academic excellence and the ability to make a difference in the software industry.

Science.gov - The United States Government provides extensive details and resources concerning internships and fellowships in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Siemens Foundation - Provides more than $1 million in college scholarships and awards each year to highschool students in the U.S.  Its signature programs, The Siemens Westinghouse Competition in Math, Science & Technology and The Siemens Awards for Advanced Placement, reward exceptional achievement in science, math and technology.

 

AAUW.org - The American Association of University Women Educational Foundation is the world's largest source of funding exclusively for graduate women.  Each year the Foundation provides about $4 million in fellowships, grants and awards for outstanding women around the globe and for community action projects.

N.F.P.W. - The National Federation of Press Women offers scholarship awards to students, professionals or retired, any member can compete in the competitions covering hundreds of categories in print and electronic journalism, advertising, public relations, new media, photography, speech writing and authorship.

S.W.E. - The Society of Women Engineers is the largest non-profit educational and service organization representing both student and professional women in engineering and technical fields.  S.W.E. scholarships are open only to women pursuing baccalaureate or graduate degrees in engineering or computer science, as well as engineering and computer science students enrolled in ABET accredited engineering program.
